it all starts here...
Whether you're new to the trails or looking to level up your short-distance mountain running, our 16-week Buffalo Stampede 20km program is designed to help you meet this technical, punchy event with strength and confidence.
With over 1,000m of elevation gain packed into 20km, this race demands preparation that goes beyond just getting out the door.
This program meets you where you are: with structure, care and a coaching team that sees the whole runner, not just the result. Expect to be challenged, but also deeply supported as you train.
Here’s what’s included:
- 3–5 structured run sessions per week: designed to build trail confidence, strength on hills, and the ability to move efficiently over technical terrain.
- Weekly strength session: to build trail-specific resilience, including stability and descending control.
- 1–2 mobility or yoga sessions: to support your joints, recovery and range of motion.
- Weekly live coaching and community calls: join our coaches and other women in real time to ask questions, get support and stay on track.
- Daily access to our online community: where you’ll connect with others training for the 20km, swap insights and build friendships that carry you through.
- Nutrition guidance: including how to fuel for race day, stay energised on the climbs and recover post-session.
- Physical therapy strategies: developed for female runners to help you prevent injury and train with longevity in mind.
- Access your training anywhere: on your phone or device, at home or on the go. Stay connected to your program no matter your location or schedule.
