Our 16-week UTA22 program is specifically designed to prepare you for the challenges of this iconic race and offers more inclusions and value than ever before to ensure you have an incredible experience in the Blue Mountains next May!

Customised Training Plans: Expertly crafted by our coaches, these plans cater to the specific demands of the Ultra Trail Australia course in the Blue Mountains. Prepare for race-specific runs, combined strength, mobility, and yoga sessions that gradually build your endurance and get you ready for the race's technical terrain.
Event Specific Training: Ultra Trail Australia includes significant elevation gain and technical sections. We ensure you develop the strength, power, and endurance to conquer these terrains.
On-Course Guided Training Runs: Join one of our guided runs on the Ultra Trail Australia course, building confidence, refining strategy, and mentally gearing up for race day.
Nutrition and Hydration Strategies for the Race: Monthly nutrition workshops with Her Trails sports dietician Amanda Watts provide insights on fuelling, hydration, and recovery techniques tailored to the Ultra Trail Australia.
Mental Resilience and Race Strategy: Beyond physical strength, UTA requires a strong mindset. With our expert coaching and weekly live sessions, spanning topics from meditation to mindset, develop strategies that align with UTA's unique demands.
Integrated Coaching and Weekly Touchpoints: Our weekly videos are on pertinent topics that will prepare you for all aspects of UTA and our special Tuesday live coaching sessions will address any questions you might have. You will also benefit from a physical therapy workshop with Alex Bell, as your body adapts to load and training volume.

Run Specific Strength
Build strength, resilience, and longevity with our weekly 30-60 minute at-home strength videos. Activate, stabilise, and train your body through targeted exercises that enhance your running performance and help prevent injuries.
Enhance your body's mobility and unlock its full range of motion with our weekly 15-50 minute mobility sessions. Address imbalances, combat physical stress, and alleviate fatigue as you give your body the freedom to move and perform at its best.

'The 50km ultra trail marathon was a goal that I set at a tumultuous time in my life…it was a chance for me to prove to myself that I can do, and succeed at, hard things.
Of course a run of that length takes preparation. The Her Trails training guide took the mental load away when preparing for the event, which was what I needed while combining full time work, study and being a mum. All I had to do was commit to myself that time, and show up for each session. The mix of strength, speed work and base miles allowed me to stay consistent and injury free, and kept it interesting.
Achieving big goals takes focus and consistency, and I went into the event feeling like I had done the work. Despite the obvious physical challenge of running 50km, I enjoyed myself so much and even managed to come in around my goal time. Looking forward to the next event, and would 100% use the program again.'
