Our 5km Foundations program  is a 6-week, beginner-friendly program designed to help you confidently achieve your 5km goal, whether starting fresh or coming back after a break.

This holistic program combines running, strength, mobility, and mindset work to build fitness and confidence at your pace.

With practical tips for overcoming challenges like motivation and injury prevention, plus support from a welcoming community, you’ll have everything you need to complete 5kms feeling strong and accomplished!

What’s included in your 6-week program:

  • 4–6 structured run sessions per week: built specifically for Buffalo’s elevation, terrain and duration.
  • 1-2 strength training session weekly: develop the power and stability needed for sustained climbs and long descents.
  • 1–2 mobility or yoga sessions: to restore, realign and keep your body moving freely across the full training load.
  • Weekly live coaching + community calls: get tailored support, connect with others on the same path, and stay accountable to your goals.

  • Daily access to our online community: for encouragement, shared stories and honest support from women training for the same event.
  • Nutrition guidance: to ensure your fuelling supports both your training and your life.
  • Physical therapy input from ultra-experienced clinicians: including injury prevention strategies and recovery tools tailored to female runners.

                        When you join the 5km Foundations program, you’ll receive immediate access to the introductory materials and full program overview. Weekly training sessions are released each Saturday, one week at a time, to support your progression and integration.   

                      

                        For upfront payments: Your purchase is non-refundable after 48 hours. If you wish to request a refund within this timeframe, please email info@hertrails.com with your name and payment details.   

                      

                        For monthly instalments: This plan includes three monthly payments. By enrolling, you agree to complete all payments in full, regardless of your level of participation. Refunds are only available within 48 hours of the first payment. After this time, your enrolment is binding and all sales are final.   

                      

                        This is a digital, non-transferable training experience delivered over time. By enrolling, you acknowledge that program content, live coaching, and community access begin upon payment, and that no cancellations or refunds are available after the initial 48-hour period.
