Introducing the Her Trails training program specifically designed for the Tarawera 51.4km race (TUM50).

Whether you're a seasoned trail runner, an experienced marathoner, or ready to challenge yourself in the ultra distance, our comprehensive 20-week program will prepare you for the demands of this iconic 50km race (plus some change)

Here's what you can expect from this transformative program:

4-6 carefully structured run sessions per week, designed to progressively build your endurance and mental resilience for the race distance. Our expert coaches will guide you through each session, ensuring you safely and effectively progress towards your Tarawera 50km goal.

1 strength training workout per week, tailored to enhance your trail running performance and endurance. These workouts focus on developing the strength, power, and stability necessary to tackle the varied terrain of the Tarawera course.

1-2 mobility and yoga sessions per week to improve your flexibility, range of motion, and overall body alignment. These sessions will optimize your body's mobility, reduce the risk of injuries, and improve your trail running efficiency on the challenging Tarawera trails.

Access to our comprehensive Life Hub, an online resource hub offering valuable content on nutrition and hydration strategies, physical therapy guidance, women's specific topics, and more to support your journey.

Weekly episodes hosted by Coach Sam, providing mindset training, insights, and practical tips to help you overcome obstacles, stay motivated, and develop the mental fortitude needed for the ultra distance.

Integrated coaching from our Her Trails coaching team. Engage in live weekly coaching sessions where you can interact with our coaches, seek guidance, ask questions, and receive personalised feedback tailored to your unique needs and goals for the Tarawera 50km race.
